SUNNI MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (SMA)

Sunni Management Association (SMA) is the joint forum of various Islamic institutions consisting of Mahallu Jama’aths, Da’wah & Shariah colleges, masjids, madrassas, orphanages and English medium Schools -abt us home The state committee of SMA was formed in August 2003. It has unit, area, regional and district wise committees selected on the basis of memberships. The association has its well-equipped central office in Calicut Samastha Centre which co-ordinates, assists and gives training for the systematic activities of Mahalls and madrasas of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Lakshadweep

Leadership

The Association is functioning under Samastha Kerala Jam’iyyathul Ulama led by the world renowned scholar Kanthapurma Abubakar Musliyar. The Association’s state committee is presently led by Sayyid Khalilul Bukhari (President), K.K. Ahamed Kutti Musliyar (General Secretary) and Sayyid Ali Bafakhi Thangal (Treasurer). Parannoor P.P. Muhiyiddeen Kutty Musliar, a unique genius in the history of the Sunni movement, was also the pioneer for the institution and modernization of the SMA.

objectives

To make Mahallu Jama’aths, masjids, madrassas schools orphanages and other religious institutions as the basic unit for Islamic traditions and enlighten them under the guidance of Islamic scholars

To help for the interaction and cooperation among different Mahallu committees.

To implement systematic action plans in order to ensure the effective Mahallu wise Islamic propagation.

To provide guidance and legal advices for masjids, madrasas and other Islamic institutions in order to ensure constitutional protection for the ideals of Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama’ah

To provide awareness, knowledge and training to the office-bearers who manage the public property

To give necessary training for managing the committees for administration and security of the institutions

To provide legal protection for Waqaf properties from being misused

08

To take necessary steps to get governmental financial aids only for deserving individuals
